Dance The Dance

Update:

The poem now has a title

Dance The Dance

Saw a pair of blue eyes today
And in them part of my future
His lips so soft upon my own
His tongue a part of my body
Molded to him like he is my very own
Two parts of one whole
Looking upon his face while on my knees
Laid out for me to see everything
Touching
Tasting
Smelling
Committing everything to memory
Longing for every touch and word
Face lit up with wonder
How to make this man my own
This is one of the many things I wonder
Fire blazing from every place you touch and kiss me
He guides his head between my legs
Burying himself above me
Time stops for what seems like forever
And then he begins to move
Dancing the dance of lovers’ tunes
While I enjoy the music only we can hear

What I’m working on

I am currently starting to write poetry again. It was my first love and I will begin to post old as well as new ones on my blog very soon. I will also put up the two only short stories i ever wrote. Maybe one day i will expand them and build something amazing from them. I am also always looking at my first novel to make it the best that it can be while also working on the second book in that series. I have written two chapters of it so far and I’m pretty happy with the direction it is going. I will leave you with a stanza from an poem I wrote in creative writing in 2002 at the beginning of my senior year in high school. It was entitled “New Love”.

New love is a river

Pulling trees straight out of the ground

Snapping every twig in its path

Turning over boats and rafts

Piling everything in one spot

Then with one big shove

Releasing it all at once.

Prologue

Jamestown, Virginia, 1625

Jenny Johnston looked over at her family and shook her head in disgust. Just looking at the bunch of them made her sick. She hated the lot of them. She needed to get out of here before she killed them all and this time she meant it. As she turned on her heels to leave she heard her mother’s voice.

“Jennifer where are you going dear? Dinner will be ready in a minute,” exclaimed Mrs. Sara Johnston.

Not today. She could not deal with this shit today.

“I have to go mother. I have things I need to do and I can’t stay for dinner,” she said.

“Nonsense! This is family time and whether you like it or not you are a part of this family,” was her mother’s reply with a hint of annoyance.

Well if she thought that was going to make her stay at this bullshit dinner she was sadly mistaken. She was over a century and didn’t have time for these disgusting events anymore.. She had full control of her Mystick powers and she would no longer hesitate to use them. Especially against her family because none of them would.

“Jennifer, you heard your mother girl, so sit your ass down before I sit it down for you” said her father, Mr. Samuel Johnston, Sr.

Awesome! Just fan-fucking-tastic. Just who in the hell did he think he was talking to her like that? Your father she heard her inner voice say. Oh, that’s right. He is. Damn. Didn’t matter she was about to teach her parents and two older brothers that she wasn’t to be fucked with. Period.

“Look, I’m done with this family crap. We’re not a family. We’re a joke. Let me leave and nobody will get hurt,” she said.

“Why you little bitch!” Samuel Johnston, Jr, the oldest of her two brothers said. “Just who the hell do you think you are? You will respect our parents or John and I will beat the shit out of you and then victimize you in ways you never thought were possible.”.

“Try it asshole and it will be the last thing that either one of you pieces of shit will do,” she replied eerily calm and cool.
