It’s The Little Things

Well, well, well…I finally freaking did it. What’s it, you ask? It is finish my BA for Psychology after 10 years…that’s what IT is!! To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I am just so freaking stoked. Not only will I now have BA but I also have an AA in Logistics from my 8 years being the the United States Air Force. I am in a very different place from where I was 10, 8, or even 1 year ago. I have 3 works published with hopefully 5 more added to that number before this year is out. I’ve met some wonderful and not so wonderful people on this author journey that I have embarked on. I have my first signing coming up with Boston Comic Con, I’ve made an official author website, I’m getting the hang of the whole social media thing (well some days at least), and most importantly I’m having fun. I will also be attending Authors In The City (AITC) next year in March…the tickets are already on sale. Check out the pinned post for details on that. Also if you are interested in being apart of my street team just click here.

For all you Facebook fans I have an amazing giveaway going on here, (just look out for the pinned post) and I’m planning a huge multi author 4th of July giveaway here. So make sure you check back to enter.

For anyone interested I’m accepting participants in my Double Blog Tour/Cover Reveal here, there are review opportunities for the first two books in my Dark Indiscretions Series, as well as chances to interview me.

I’m currently working on I guess what you would call a spin off or companion novellas to my Dark Indiscretions Series which will be called The Dark Indiscretions Chronicles, detailing more intimately certain characters that aren’t detailed as much as I would have wanted in the Dark Indiscretions Series. I also have 6 books planned in a Sci-Fi, Steampunk, Fantasy type world that I want to start working on at the beginning of the year. I’m really excited about it and will even be possibly using a friend as the model on the covers.

I have so many book ideas that it’s become crazy to keep them all separate. I’ve been using Scrivener, which I love! The layout and organization is amazing. It’s especially helpful since I want to release an Insider’s Guide once the Dark Indiscretions Series is complete. Well that’s enough of my ramblings for today! Happy Sunday and for all the True Blood fans, I hope tonight’s episode is better than the last!

Welcome To The Real World

Hello. It’s been awhile. To say I started my journey full of excitement and wonder would be correct but I’m slowing losing the excitement and starting to wonder what the hell was I thinking.

The job search is hard as hell and most places that do want to hire are commission jobs. Now I wouldn’t be adverse to taking one of these positions but I’m trying to buy a condo and it just won’t happen with a commission only job at the moment.

So I’m at a loss of what to do really. Hope my books mysteriously sell a million copies overnight? One can only dream until then I’m going to try not to put myself in a mental hospital worrying about it. I can always sleep in my car right??

Multiple Indie Authors Spotlight

Today on the blog I’m going to do something a bit different. I’m going to spotlight 5 Indie Authors. Some of the authors write paranormal and some do not. I hope you find new books and authors you like from this list.

First up is Cristy Rey

TakingbackSunday

Cristy

Cristy Rey Bio

Cristy Rey is the author of the romantic urban fantasy Incarnate series. The first book, Taking Back Sunday, and a short prequel novelette, Edge of Seventeen, are available now at online retailers. She also writes and publishes unconventional romantic women’s fiction. Weeping Angels will be released in July 2014, and The Heart Grow Fonder will be released at the end of the year.

Cristy lives in Miami, FL where she is a reader and writer most of the time, and a knitter much less of the time than she was six months before she took up writing again. She writes the books that she likes to read. She describes her writing style as riot grrrl Jane Austen sprinkled with a little magic. There’s always a killer soundtrack running in the background of her novels – all you need to do is turn to the playlist to know what’s up.

Excerpt from Love Bites:

Broken Dreams

“Milo went over the paperwork one more time. He double checked every signature, every misspelling, and every order that it held. He was done … finally. He glanced at the clock, frustrated. It was two in the morning and he had school tomorrow. He sighed, switched off the lamps, and sat in the dark, letting his natural defenses grow.

Milo was the Alpha of a hundred strong wolf-shifter pack. He would never classify them as werewolves for the simple fact that werewolf legends and stories never seemed to adequately portray the shifter life. He was writing to another pack that night, and he hadn’t been able to turn in until it was completed. Pack business always came first, even before homework. Tonight, he still had some math homework that needed to be finished, but he was too tired to complete it before going to bed. Math wasn’t his subject at the best of times, but it was a necessary tool for a leader to learn and utilize. He would have to ask his teacher for more time tomorrow.

The good thing was that his teacher was another shifter. They all lived in the same community and it helped when things got difficult. If he had to, he could just use his Alpha status—as leader and protector of his pack—to explain away certain things … like homework. No one questioned the Alpha.

Milo’s eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness, and he made his way over to the door and out into the hallway of his house. He should have been heading to bed, but the usual nagging feeling drew him outside again. This time it wasn’t just his wolf that wanted to run free; it was his very soul. His true mate—the one person that his heart was meant to beat for, the one soul that made his complete—was out there somewhere. Close. Finally close. Milo had no idea how long he had felt her within his heart, how long he had been able to tell whenever she was close by, but it felt like it had always been that way.

True mates were the only kind of happiness a shifter was destined for. No wolfshifter, old or young, no matter from what pack, was ever meant to be with anyone other than their true mate. For that reason, Milo had never even kissed a girl before, even though he was nineteen. No holding hands, no kissing, no hugging, no attraction. It was all saved for his true mate, meant only for her. Whoever this mystery girl was that he was drawn to, Milo Belesone had been created just for her. And the very thought that she was close by sent his heart racing and his spine tingling with apprehension.

What if he found her tonight? What if she loved him back? What if she didn’t love him? What if she wouldn’t accept him? What if they kissed? What if they didn’t?

His mind was in utter turmoil. For years he had felt that connection between them, but no matter how close she felt at times, he still hadn’t found her. Sometimes, the connection completely disappeared for days or weeks, which wasn’t normal. He knew that mates just didn’t disappear from one another’s lives. Yes, his mate was out there, he knew it with every fiber of his being, but for some reason, he kept losing her. It was as if she was able to consciously cut off their connection whenever she wanted and it felt so much like rejection that Milo grieved for her often.

A true mate should never refuse the one that they were made for, but the laws of free will meant that they could. Milo had felt enough heartache in his lifetime to know what would happen if his mate rejected him. It would be unbearable.

He rushed downstairs and out the front door of the Alpha house—the biggest in the village—careful not to disturb anyone. The guards at the door didn’t so much as blink as he raced past them and out into the forest. He often went for late-night runs. It was the only way to ease the tension and the pressure of being the Alpha … the only way to grieve in peace.

Milo barely got halfway to his destination when the grief began to overwhelm him. The connection had disappeared again. He fell to his knees, not breathing hard, not panting or out of breath, but from the sheer struggle to keep his emotions in check. An Alpha should never be rejected by his mate. He felt worthless, useless, and stupid, unworthy of his title and the respect that it gave him in the pack.

Now, he needed his extra senses more than ever. He allowed himself to walk the remainder of the way toward his chosen spot. Milo stepped through the trees and into the clearing, returning to the place where he felt most connected to his mate, and began undressing. He would need his clothes intact for returning home in the morning, but for now, he needed his wolf. He needed to feel everything, to sense everything, to see everything just in case she was near. He laid his clothes on a nearby boulder and allowed his body to shift and contort into a large wolf. He was the biggest of his pack as Alpha, and it felt good to feel his strong muscles forming, to have firm, sure footed paws leading him into the middle of the meadow.

It was the most beautiful place that he had ever seen. Milo walked his wolf body into the very center of the meadow and lay down, then placed his head on his front paws. The grief overwhelmed him now, as always. She wasn’t here. She had never been here. Somewhere inside, he continued to hope that the beauty of the area and his strong scent that he left behind there would draw her to the meadow, but it never did. The beauty was lost to him yet again. The blues and yellows and greens of the wild, overgrown grass with its weeds and flowers created a multitude of scents and wonder for the wolf to watch. The bees were busy, the birds were chirping away and it was a safe haven amongst a village of people.

Comfort and sadness suddenly swept over him. He needed this place … now, more than ever before. Milo knew that he was very lucky that he had been given time, since he had been made Alpha so young—at just seventeen—by his father’s illness and his grandfather’s death. He had time to train, learn and to step up to his position, time to drop out of school for his last two years and focus on being Alpha. However, he had gone back to school as soon as he was ready, repeating his lost years to show the others in the pack how important education was. He was their leader, and he had to set a good example, but he had also been granted a rare privilege: he had been given more time to find his true mate than any other Alpha.

Most Alphas were supposed to be united to their true mate by the end of their eighteenth birthday, when they officially became a man. Eighteen was the age when their true mate bond really developed into something that made it possible for two true mates to find each other. All they had to do was to pass each other, look into each other’s faces and they knew. It was instinctual, and the wolves inside of them helped along the way.

Milo had a good sense of his true mate even before that—almost like a radar—to tell him when she was close and when he was most likely to find her in their lands, but he had never found her. He began to wonder if he ever would. This continual feeling her presence and then losing her again was making him insane, making him worry for her safety. What had happened to break their connection? Milo let out a sigh that, in his wolf body became a small huff. He was running out of time to find her. His twentieth birthday was fast approaching and he wasn’t sure that he would be allowed to continue searching for her once it passed. No Alpha had ever ruled his pack this long without a mate.

True mates made Alpha’s stronger, faster, more resilient wolves. True mates made them complete. And how could Milo forget the most important factor of being an Alpha—to produce an heir. He certainly couldn’t do that alone, but he also knew that he couldn’t do that with anyone other than his true mate. He had to find her soon … before the Elder Council got ideas of finding him another girl.

It could only happen to an Alpha. Only Alpha’s were ever allowed to take a mate that wasn’t their true mate. The only exception was when a true mate died and the other was left alone. Then, they were allowed to take another to their hearts, but Milo wasn’t sure that he could even do that. How could he be with a girl that wasn’t his true mate? To kiss her and love her and give her an heir? His every sense screamed at him how wrong it was, but he had no choice. He had less than fifteen days until his birthday. If he hadn’t found his true mate by then, he knew that he would be forced to do the unthinkable. His choice was simple: find his true mate or step down as Alpha.”

I am in love!!! With a city…Boston to be exact. This isn’t Boston perse but it’s close to it. Bedford I believe but they had the biggest Barnes and Noble I’ve ever seen. I was like a kid in a candy store and even the lady that worked their noted how my face lite up with wonder and joy. I felt like I had come home. I was in heaven. There was a freaking escalator in the damn building! It was two, do you hear me, TWO floors of goodies to choose from. The one week I was there from March 17-21 wasn’t nearly enough time for me. So glad I will be moving there this summer. It’s like everything clicked into place. I even hit up the Museum of Modern Art and saw some wonderful pieces from American, Ancient, and European Art. It was breathtaking. My favorite was the dragon display they were putting up. Too bad it opened Friday and I was leaving to come back to VA that day but I did get a glimpse….

My Writing Process – Blog Tour

IMG_0556Hello and welcome to the My Writing Process – Blog Tour!!!!! Today we will be examining a bit about my writing process and why I do what I do 🙂

My amazing fellow Indie Author and new friend ELR Jones tagged me in this amazing event!

And now to answer a few questions….

What am I working on…

I’m currently working on too many things at once. I’m in the process of polishing up and formatting book 2 in my Dark Indiscretions Series, Dark Indiscretions: Monster Unleashed, that gives the ‘bad guys’ story of day to day life. Their hopes, fears, and dreams. I’m working on a Prequel novella to my Dark Indiscretions Series that gives a bit of back story before I go into book 3 in the series. I have a total of 7 books planned in this series at the moment…it can be summed up with this line: Dark Indiscretions…where even the bad guys are afraid of the dark.

I also had an idea for a YA short story that I’m six chapters in about a Amish type group of elemental coven of withches who go through a Rumspringa of sorts to determine which element they will lead with the rest of their lives at 16. It’s in fact titled Rumspringa. It’s very different my Dark Indiscretions Series. Only thing it has in common is the paranormal/supernatural aspect.

Then there is this project I’m working on called Sacrifice Broken. I can’t go into many details at the moment because this is going to be a whole new mythology/world I’m building basically from scratch. I have a few basic ideas and doing a bit of research to get a basic fill but I will be putting my own brand of quirky to the paranormal/supernatural creatures we all know and love. It’s going to be a huge novel because right now it’s a stand alone in my mind. It’s going to be the biggest project I’ve ever done. My currently books are around 35-40K and this one will be a wayyyyyyy bigger than that. Probably around 400-600 pages.

Lastly, I am a poet as well and published a small collection of my poems that is out now called Inside The Heart Of My Soul currently available on Smashwords, BN, and Amazon.

DIBook 1 in my Dark Indiscretions Series is also available online at Amazon for print and ebook and online at BN for print. Clicking the book image will take you to the Amazon page and wouldn’t you know it…it’s FREE today! Happy St. Patty’s Day!

How does my work differ from others of its genre…

My work is a twist on the traditional vampires, werewolves, or whatever else. I didn’t want to write about such and such being so good and wholesome. I wrote about the bad guys. The guys we love to hate. I wanted to show that even though they kill and don’t have the same morals and the next person, that they are not different. They want what we all want. Love, loyalty, and family. They kill because it’s necessary to their survival. They don’t do it for fun…well not all of them. They try to stay under the radar but sometimes things get out of hand. Half the times it’s the ones closest to us that inflict the most damage. I wanted to bring something to the paranormal world that hadn’t been explored yet. I kind of spliced some creatures characteristics together and made a whole new type of paranormal. My characters say things that other think but will never say.

Why do I write what I do…

I write paranormal/supernatural because I love anything fantasy, mythology, and folktale based. It’s so cool to read about magic and the unknown. You can play around some much in this genre and that’s what I love about it. I can change up things and maybe people will be shocked at first but slowly they start excepting that this is a different style and take on the traditional. There are only so many times you can read about the same old paranormal. I wanted to write new paranormals as well as a new story line dynamic and I don’t think I would have had as much fun writing contemporary romances about everyday life. Not that everyday life can’t be exciting but it just makes it all the more fun to write about enhanced supernatural creatures that defy human logic 🙂

Ultimately I write because I enjoy it.

How does your writing process work…

I thought I knew my process…the first book I wrote I sat down and cranked it out chapter by chapter. Well second book was nothing like that. I had scene notes all over my iPhone, notebook, or word document. They would come at random times and in no particular order. I would still go through the book chapter by chapter but I had all these scenes that I wasn’t sure where they were going until I go to it. It eventually all came together in the end. Now the huge project I’m working on I tried Scrivener for a trial and love it. The organization is crazy and that’s just what I need for this one. Character sheets, setting sheets, and the like. All in kind of note card order and can be complied into one document later if you want. I love it.

Some times I like to write in a blank notebook and some times I like to type it out. Just depends really. I don’t outline though. I don’t decide where the story is going. I just let it flow as it comes. I get aha moments in my own world and I’m like I didn’t see that coming. Not outlining keeps the anxiety away. That way if something goes left field I don’t have to change anything. I just work around it and make it flow, if that makes sense.

And that’s my little mini story about my writing journey. I’m always learning something new everyday and daydreaming about the next scene. I love it. I’ve turned a hobby into a part-time job (more like full-time) and met some great people along the way. I look forward to bringing many more stories into the world!

Coming up next week!!

Michelle Abbot

I’m a self-published author of new adult romance, and like to write about heroes who begin as the underdog and are protective of their girl. I’m an avid reader of romance, am addicted to coffee and love wine and chocolate, so yeah, not the most healthy eating and drinking habits 🙂 I spend way too much time online when I should be writing. I collect teddy bears and occasionally knit a couple of rows on a sweater I started years ago, which I may eventually finish in time to wear for my funeral 🙂
My latest work is a new adult contemporary romance titled, Just Stay. I hope to have it published within the next month.

My Review

The Elemental Detective

4 1/2 Stars

*** This book was given to me by Reach For The Stars Marketing for an honest review.

***Disclaimer…I didn’t know this book was a part of a series until I started reading it but it didn’t take away for the story itself, in fact, it only made me want to go back and purchase books 1-4 🙂

Where to begin…this is my kind of book. Murder, mermaids, and magic all in one black. You have Riga, a PI, who is also a necromancer or just became one (I’m a bit fuzzy, must read other books) and while honeymooning in Hawaii with her husband Donovan, mayhem seems to have followed them to their little piece of the world. Riga doesn’t want to answer the call at first but finds herself knee deep in the muck of it, when Donovan and she stumbled upon the bodies of a man and a seal.

Family and friends are her focus to begin her investigation and you finds out some things that she already knew and didn’t want to see and some she didn’t. Meanwhile the Hawaiian magic seems to have a strange attraction to her husband. They team up to find the source of the murders and uncover some of the mysteries of the island. The main characters are lovable and well written and so is the world Ms. Weiss has created. I found myself spellbound and engrossed in the world and was hungering for more. This is definitely a series that I will be following from beginning to end. In a small way I was even reminded of The Mercedes Thompson novels by Patricia Briggs but only in the thought that magic followed the main female around wherever she went, even when trying to enjoy a honeymoon.

It seemed everywhere they went someone or something was out to stop them and trip them up. This book was so well written that even with all the suspects I had no idea of who it could have even been until it was told towards the end of the book. I didn’t even have a suspicion. I was completely in the dark until it happened and boy was I shocked! Outstanding twists and turns at every corner. I will most definitely be starting this wonderful series from the very beginning.

Excerpt: pages 1 – 3

The palms outside rattled like bones, awakening Riga. A warm salt breeze slipped through the open door, and shivered across her bare skin. Beside her, the mattress sagged, the bed frame creaking an accompaniment to her own, steady breathing.

One breath, rising and falling. Her breath.

Muddled by sleep, she stilled, her heart leaping with a sudden jolt of adrenaline as she understood it wasn’t her husband beside her, weighting the bed. Riga kept her breathing steady, and extended her other senses. Probing. She opened her eyes, peering through her lashes. Through the open glass door, the moon illuminated a winged figure, hunched beside her on the hotel’s bed.

“Brigitte!” Riga sat up, torn between annoyance and the panic rising in her throat. She clutched the sheet to her breasts. “What are you doing here? Where’s Donovan?”

The gargoyle shrugged, the sound of rocks grating together, and the bed shifted. “Monsieur Mosse left an hour ago,” she graveled, a French-accented Lauren Bacall. “And his whereabouts are the least of your worries.”

Riga lurched to the left and reached for the bedside lamp. Instead, her fingers found emptiness, fumbled in the dark, then touched a wooden leg, upright, seemingly supporting nothing. Where the hell had the tabletop gone? Her fingers brushed a rounded stump and it fell over with a crash. Where the hell had the lamp gone?

She swung her feet out of bed, took two steps, and bashed her shin into something hard. Riga felt along the wall and smacked the light switch, cursing. Uncomprehending, she stared. Everything but the bed had been turned upside down. Cushioned wicker chairs. Wooden table. Television… She grabbed her silk robe, draped over an upside down ottoman, and slipped it on, walked to the entertainment center. That was still upright, but the TV inside had been inverted.

Wonder leaked past her anxiety. She sniffed. A trace of magic lingered, wild like a forest glade, elemental. Fae? She regarded the creative destruction she’d slept through, and amended that thought. Stealth fae. Dammit. She fumbled the belt of her robe.

“What happened to Donovan? Where is he?” Riga’s voice sounded shrill, even to her ears.

“Your husband left of his own accord.”

“Alone?” Riga motioned toward the mess. No, it couldn’t be happening again. Not another run-in with the faery world. Not here. Not now. “Did you see who—”

Brigitte’s stone-feathered head reared backwards. “I do not spy!”

“But you saw Donovan leave.”

“And then I waited by ze rocks until you woke up.”

You woke me up.”

The gargoyle picked at her feathers. “I grew bored, and the sun will rise soon, and we have much to discuss.”

The diamond on Riga’s finger glinted, and she rubbed the back of her wedding rings with her thumb. She and Donovan hadn’t yet adjusted to island time, and both were rising well before daybreak. Donovan had probably woken up while she was sleeping and grown restless, hadn’t wanted to wake her. Of course he was safe. It couldn’t be happening again. That would be stretching the bounds of… She worked the knot on her robe. He was safe.

She swallowed, despising the remnants of fear that made her muscles twitch, and flipped her emotions to anger. Anger was simpler.

Guest Post – Ashley Phillips

Today we have our very first guest post from my dear friend, PA, and Beta reader, Ashley Phillips! Please say hi and make her feel welcomed 🙂 She is in the process of writing her first book and I am in LOVE so far… I can’t wait until the day she publishes it and is able to share it with all of you…Without further ado here is her piece…..

I find it completely difficult being ADD and trying to write a book. I want to finish my book off in the same setting and plot. Not start off with Cinderella and end up writing about the big bad wolf who saved Rapunzel from Copper because Snow White  didn’t get her legs and stayed a mermaid. See my problem? I have to go back and reread to make sure I do not do that! haha 😉 I also find just writing a challenge. I have the scene perfectly set but I can’t seem to make my fingers move across the keys because I am too busy thinking of something else. My mind is a whirl pool stuck in a tornado being flushed down a toilet. Does that make sense? I hope so! I love thinking of worlds I could create and I hope one day I can publish a book with at least one commenter saying I did a good job. I would love to hear criticism and feed back. I am terrified of it but I want it you know? I think it will make me a better writer. I could not do any of this without a great person named Shakuita Johnson. Juita is an amazing person who inspired me to write and actually do it. Otherwise, it would be years down the road until I put a book out there. I am not doing it all myself though, My step mom is co-writing with me and  my mom and cousins are my betas. I love my family for all their help.

I Can See The Light…

So this week is finals week for the three class I was taken. I’m happy for two reasons…one it’s finals week!!! Three class online, while working full time and trying to write part time sucks ASS!!! Yes I said it. Secondly, I’m happy because I only have three classes left until I will hold a BA in Psychology. That’s right twitches…I’ll be a card holding degree carrier! The day after my three classes I’m currently taking end I start two more classes. Yay!!! Fun times 🙂 I’m also free…well only for the summer and then grad school starts. The grind never ends but I’m excited. Some many new things going on this year that I can’t complain. My second book will be published in April, I’m getting out of the military, moving to Boston, and buying my first piece of real estate. All in all I think 2014 is looking pretty damn good!

Review – Raw by Belle Aurora

Started reading Raw Wednesday night…had to make myself go to bed instead of pulling an all nighter…then decided it would be a good idea to finish it at work the next day. Mistake…hard to explain why you’re crying like a two year old while reading on your iPad at work…then I came home and was so exhausted I fell asleep at 330 pm and didn’t wake up into 130 am…that is what Raw did to me…

My Review

This may seem like a bad review but it’s not. It’s so fucking not. I am in love with this damn book. It spoke to my soul.

Love is a drug and like any drug you will do anything to have it…

Raw oh my good I’m conflicted I’m loving it but I hate it! If that makes sense. It’s like the story of my soul. I get it. Maybe I’m just damaged lol but it brings home the fact that one act can change your life regardless of if you know it or not.

But it’s one of those I can see why ppl hate it hahahaha but it’s so gritty and real all the bad stuff they said I can see it. Hell I’ve lived it. Anyone who’s loved a boy that they knew was bad for them but did anyway even though it went against everything they believed in. Shit is believable. Ppl are too caught up on the sappy happy books, they have a time and place but this shit hits home it’s like my poetry to me. Real and unfiltered. Raw just like the book says. Everything is laid bare and I love it.

Sometimes we want things in life and don’t know how to ask for it. Sometimes we just want someone else to recognize the pieces that are missing within out hearts, our souls. My heart hurt reading this book. It heart for all the times I thought someone had seen me only to realize that it was a lie. Twitch saw Lexi but she didn’t see him but as the reader I saw him.

The part where she talks about the good and bad of their “relationship” is poetic in its explanation. Summed up to what so many live by…”I’ll take the bad just so I can have the good.” So many people stay in a relationship that’s going to open them wide open and pour salt in their wounds just for those small smiles and the unguarded touches. Those moments keep you going and staying even when your head so no. But your heart, your damn bleeding heart says yes. Stay along for the ride because we will get to have that moment on more damn time! Gah, this book is ruining me…

You know it’s bad when you’re lying to your best friend. When you’ve never had secrete before. Is it shame we feel or something else? Love is something that no one can really explain when they feel it. It makes you do things you didn’t know you were capable of doing. And when it’s gone…it takes a part of you right down to your soul and makes you physically sick so you sometimes hang on even when you know you shouldn’t.

The conflict he felt for falling in love even when he wasn’t trying. That’s the love that hits and hurts the hardest. The love you never saw coming.

I get this book so much. Parts could be my life. Knowing someone’s bad for you, they treat you like crap, you swear you’re mad and will never talk to them or you’re gonna give them a piece of your mind, but you see them and everything stops. You just want to get that moment back again. It’s easier to give in then to fight…I get it all to well.

And that song…that damn Maroon 5 song “One More Night,” I can’t even…no words. Perfect…

I love that Twitch is getting attached to someone. In his own way he likes Michael.

And now I’m crying like a newborn baby and I need a blanket and a pillow. I’m done…so done. Why, why, why?? I’m never going to recover from this…

“Doesn’t matter. You’ll forget it once I’m gone.”

“No, I won’t.”
