Bio

Angela Fattig spent most of her childhood reading any book she could find. That’s when her passion of writing was born. When she was 10, she started writing short stories and poems and kept quite a collection.

In 1998, she met Paul and they have shared a life together for 15 years. In 1999, she introduced the world to her first born, Brandi, and again in 2000, Sarah.

Today, when she is not doing what she loves, writing, she spends time with her beautiful family and the addition of two dogs named Izzy and Herly.

Angela’s inspirations have always been Stephen King, E L James, and Poe.

Tell us about your family? I have been in a relationship for almost 16 years. I have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 dogs.

How much sleep do you need to be your best? 3 hours

What’s your favorite meal? Chinese

What color represents your personality the most? Purple

What movie do you love to watch? Until Fifty Shades of Grey is out— I would say 1408

How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? Are they a good thing? Social Media Site is a two edge sword. They can either help or hurt a person.

If you could do any job in the world what would you do? I would love to be a PA to either Stephen King or E L James- Of course I would still write

What are you most passionate about? What gets you fired up? The world in general. I am crazy about theories

What makes you angry? Close minded people

What’s your most embarrassing moment of your life? When my family and friends forgot my 16^th birthday

Are you a city slicker or a country lover? I can survive either but I love the country

What would you love to produce in your life? I want to write/say just one thing that makes a person think, really think. I want to make them question their life and the world around them.

What’s the reason for your life? Have you figured out your reason for being here yet? I don’t think anyone really knows the answer to this question. We all have theories, but in the end they are just that, a theory. And I do LOVE a theory!

Do you know your neighbors? I tend to only leave the house once a month. So no, I really don’t know them.

How important are friends in your life? I do have a soft spot for humans, but all I really need is me. Friends are fine, but in the end, you are the only one who truly has your back.

How many friends does a person need? Maybe one

What does love mean to you? Communication, understanding, forgiveness, and acceptance. Love is what YOU make of it. Until you have this you will never truly be happy. “Immature love says: ‘I love you because I need you.’ Mature love says ‘I need you because I love you.” Erich Fromm

What social issues interest you the most? Government Conspiracy

When you get free time on the internet or you go to the library – what do you want to read about? Theories of any kind, Most any genres

Do you find the time to read? Find the time? NO—Make the time? YES! In order to be a good Author you must first be a good reader

Last book you purchased? Tell us about it. The Spotlight Series by JS Taylor—It was amazing! There is a woman who has demons, but doesn’t realize it until a beautifully screwed up movie producer helps her overcome them in the process frees himself. It is the perfect read after Fifty Shades of Grey!

Who do you admire? I admire Authors in general. However, I most admire the indy authors. They put themselves out there on their own.

Why do you write? I find it to be a way to escape reality. While most use drugs or drink, I write. I also feel I have something to give the world and the only way I can do that is to write.

Have you always enjoyed writing? Yes, ever since I was 9 yrs. old

What motivates you to write? Life… All my books so far are Fiction. However, I try to inject truth, reality into it.

What books did you love growing up? Anything by Stephen King, R L Stine, anything Harlequin Romance

Who is your favorite author? That is a toss-up between Stephen King, E L James, and Poe

What book genre of books do you adore? Any type of Romance. Science Fiction is a strong second.

Is writing a gift or a curse? Both. While I truly enjoy it there are times my mind will not shut down. When I am writing I feel like I am neglecting my family. When I’m with my family I feel like I am neglecting the people I give birth to. I don’t create characters, but real people. My “people” are me and I am them.

What book should everybody read at least once? Fifty Shades of Grey—No not for the sex, but rather for the story line. I have seen it all too often in real life.

Is there any books you really don’t enjoy? You may find this funny, but I don’t care for shape-shifters. Yes, I know I am writing The Incubi Series and I loved Twilight, but they really don’t so it for me. Although, I highly respect all who do read and write them. (Did I just kill my career before I started?)

How did you develop your writing? On my own. I did great in English class with very little help. I have also taken a few English/Writing college classes and was placed on the Dean’s List!

Where do you get your inspiration from? Life, television, theories, and dreams.

What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing? Writing- Writing “The End” is bittersweet

What marketing works for you? Ads on Facebook, Twitter, and my Street Team.

Do you find it hard to share your work? Yes! My first book We Are Not Alone Book 1 Invasion Trilogy almost didn’t happen.

Is your family supportive? Do your friends support you? Yes, to both.

Do you plan to publish more books? Hell yes! Right now I have a total of 15 books waiting to be written and I’m sure before the night is out I will have more!

What else do you do to make money, other than write? It is rare today for writers to be full time… Right now I am full time. Jobs just do not exist where I live.

How do you write – laptop, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk? Notebook, Laptop, the living room and a TV tray is my office. I do dream of having a real office one day.

Where do you get support from? Do you have friends in the industry? Cp Bialois and Jamie White have helped me from the start

Every writer has their own idea of what a successful career in writing is, what does success in writing look like to you? I haven’t made it until Stephen King has written a script to one of my books and John Cusack has been cast to star in it!

It is vital to get exposure and target the right readers for your writing, tell us about your marketing campaign? Teasers, promos, reviews, and word of mouth.

Tell us about your new book? What’s it about and why did you write it? It is more than one book… Invasion Trilogy- “The Invasion is here and it is NOT what you think… In the pages of the Bible there are stories that no one really talks about…Those on television only theorize…What if an Alien Invasion happened? What if the Invasion didn’t come from outer space? What if it came from within the Bible? Would you be ready? Would you know what to do?”

When you are not writing, how do you like to relax? I love to read!

Do you have any tips on how writers can relax? Music is the path to the soul!

How often do you write? And when do you write? I write about 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Sometimes it’s so hard to keep at it – What keeps you going? Music.

What do you hope people will take away from your writing? How will your words make them feel? I want them to experience all emotions and question the world around them.

What’s your next project? Right now I am finishing Her Hidden Desire Book 2 The Incubi Series. Next is Just… Breathe an Erotic Romance that is already 60% complete. Then on to two Science Fictions.

How do you feel about self-publishing? I tried a publisher but it didn’t work. I self-Publish now and love having all the control
